Great food and brilliant service. Ordered burger for lunch and the chicken is very tender and chips are hot and crispy. Very friendly staff and nice environment. Have not tried the beer due to work reason but will definitely try next time!

Not only is the Bruhaus superbly located in the heart of the Wellington CBD but Tom, the outstanding Manager, has gone to great lengths to create a perfect combination of great beers and delicious food!

I've been a regular there since it opened and have seen it develop it's range of hand drawn ales into something to be really proud of. Tom and his team really know their products well and are pleased to offer samplers of any ale you might fancy; nothing is too much trouble and there are frequent 'specials' to enjoy as well.

For lunch-time eaters, the Bruhaus provides a really tasty array of popular and well presented dishes - the food is always great and the service from the kitchen speedy, so ideal for business lunches, as well as for the casual diner, like me!

Now, with a recently extended covered seating area outside, the pub draws customers at all times of day or night and caters really well for the many visitors to Wellington.

What more can you ask for? Central location; superb ales, spirits and wines; wholesome food served promptly at sensible prices and an engaging Manager who has assembled quality staff, front of house or in the kitchen. In a compact City with so much competition, the Bruhaus is a stand-out bar and eatery!

Nice bar starting to get a bit dated. As the name suggests big focus on beer full of corporate types given its location so it can have a nice after work atmosphere. Great on a sunny day / afternoon if you get one of their outdoor seeats.

Just received lovely service. Easy to pre-book for lunch. Wasn't too packed and food came out fairly quickly. Yummy burgers and a great range of beers and wines on offer. Very attentive staff who quickly cleared away dishes, took orders really quickly too and made sure we were well looked after. Will certainly return.
