      One of the best attractions in all of Wellington. A great place to take the kids to and less overwhelming than Te Papa in terms of size. Lots to see and do in this museum.

      Very good compact museum. Really good location on the waterfront so great on a summers day. Their piece on the Wahine disaster was extremely well done and very powerful. This place deserves more funding as it does an excellent job of telling the story of Wellington through the ages.

      Came here recently with a friend who was visiting Wellington, and i was so surprised. Its like a hidden gem, great place to take a stroll and learn about NZ Maritime history. Defiantly recommend for a educational fun outing.
