This was my first visit to the Te Papa museum and I was very impressed with the quality of information and presentation. My favourite section was the ANZAC part of the museum which had these huge statues which was amazing and very heartfelt. The museum is huge there is a lot to see and great for the kids to explore. The staff were very helpful and friendly showing us around certain areas when we got lost.

A must do in Wellington. Awesome place to spend the day, all of the exhibits are high quality and well thought out. Lovely building and just a very interesting place. The kids seem to enjoy it too plus there's a great cafe for a break.

Always a must visit!

So much to see and do even with the recent upgrades. We love the Maori history part and the kids love seeing all the extinct and current animals of New Zealand displays.

With parking outside which is pay and display, a helpful information desk and a really good cafe which serves lovely coffee and cakes this is a must visit
