Bought fish & chips takeaways. The fish was not bad but the chips were better, they were very flavoursome. Staff were pleasant.

It aggrieves me to give Te Aro Fish Supply such a low score, but after a couple of less than mediocre meals, the once iconic chip shop has lost a longtime customer. They're under new proprietorship, so it might be a case of teething problems. But I'm keen to give them another go and amend my score.

Nice food and a big choice of fish to choose from. Little bit longer of waiting time during busy peak, but still good to recommend.

The staff here are very friendly and the service is quick, reasonably priced, but the chips are definitely not the best I've had, even though many people tell me they are the best in the city. Probably wouldn't go again but my food was otherwise pretty tasty.
