Come on down for all day dining to Sweet Mother¿s Kitchen at 5 Courtenay Place, Wellington. With home-style cookin', Sweet Mother¿s Kitchen draws on influences from New Orleans with Cajun and Creole dishes plus Mexican snack food. All day breakfast (till 5pm) on Saturday and Sunday. We serve Supreme coffee free range eggs, corn-fed chicken and free-range pork. Sweet Mother's Kitchen is fully licensed - with a selection of wines and a variety of Mexican beer and a growing selection of New Zealand craft beers. Our cocktail list is inspired by drinks of New Orleans and there is a selection of juices, soft drinks and milkshakes for all. We also now have a Vegan menu Hours The kitchen is open Sun- Thur 8am-9.30-ish pm Fri-Sat 8am-late. Have heard so much about think place and was so excited to finally be able to go last month. Tries the beignets, chicken waffles and curly fries. Omg. The food here is just amazing. Honestly people rave about this place and I was a bit sceptical going in as I just felt very out of place with the decor and furniture but as soon as I tried the food I knew I would be back. It was every bit as good as I was told. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Went herefor lunch a few days ago. Had the big easy burger and curly fries. Was really good and the prices were really reasonable. The staff were all very friendly but the seats were a bit uncomfortable.

A Sweet Mother’s Kitchen. A great place for brunch. The staff were great and really friendly. The food for all our table was tasty and delivered promptly. Oh and a good breakfast beer selection, Highly recommend.

Sweet Mother's has been part of the wellington eating scene, more so now when I'm vegan and it's more of a mission to find places to eat still. Sweet mother's got a lot of decor and charecter, the staff are always great which makes me feel like it's a fun place to work. It's usually busy and vibrant. As a delivery person it was great to see great atmosphere even during level 3 and 2.
