      Come on down for all day dining to Sweet Mother¿s Kitchen at 5 Courtenay Place, Wellington. With home-style cookin', Sweet Mother¿s Kitchen draws on influences from New Orleans with Cajun and Creole dishes plus Mexican snack food. All day breakfast (till 5pm) on Saturday and Sunday. We serve Supreme coffee free range eggs, corn-fed chicken and free-range pork. Sweet Mother's Kitchen is fully licensed - with a selection of wines and a variety of Mexican beer and a growing selection of New Zealand craft beers. Our cocktail list is inspired by drinks of New Orleans and there is a selection of juices, soft drinks and milkshakes for all. We also now have a Vegan menu Hours The kitchen is open Sun- Thur 8am-9.30-ish pm Fri-Sat 8am-late.       I have many happy memories of this place and I have slowly over the years clocked the menu. Good comfort food. Make sure you try their pie. Curly fries are legit amazing along with the chicken and enchiladas.

      We always visit Sweet Mothers Kitchen when we come to Wellington. Staff are lovely, food delicious...mmm chicken in butter milk is the best.

      Still one of the best out there. Have loved coming to this place now for years. Can be packed at times so best to go off peak. AMAZING food, mac n cheese and curly fries are the best. Just sensational comfort food really.

      Love this place! Make sure we visit whenever we’re in the capital.
      Fried chicken, corn bread, Po boys, breakfast burrito mmmmhmmmmm, food to cover any time of day and to top it off the coffees awesome!!
