Regal Chinese Restaurant

The potatoes could be better, the broc was a bit over-cooked but not unacceptably so. the wine recommendation for dessert was syruppy and far to rich for an eaton mess type thing. Service was good. I love it. Will certainly go back, the food is superb.

great and tasty food, good to try for nice Chinese style

We were walking past and thought we would try after not coming for awhile. We heard change of management. It was late 1.15pm or so and no booking. They were coming to the end and so we didn’t get many dishes come past and then we saw another table order from a list. Once we asked for the list we were able to order everything we wanted. Not bad actually. Chinese turnip, deep fried pork dumplings, chickens feet, steamed rice rolls, dim sum etc. As we were finishing I saw a large group come in and one of them just gave in a list of what they wanted already prechosen, whilst others sat down. Note to self for another time!

Food was great , continuous servings of all dim sums. Staff extremely friendly - loved it. It’s very central close to shops , transport and the sights of Wellington
