We went to watch a film at the Penthouse Cinema 3, a screening that was a part of the international film festival, and it was a visual disaster!
Online booking did not give us any option as far as choosing our seats was concerned. What we got was D-7, 8, 9, and 10. We just rationalised that in any case it has to be somewhere in the middle.
And to our shock, it was the front most row!
It was a huge screen and the distance between the front most row and the huge screen was hardly anything at all!
It was not merely terribly uncomfortable for our necks, it did not given us a visual experience at all despite the movie being a good one.
Shouldn’t there be some kind of engineering for the theatres to comply with some decent norms?
We came out utterly let down! And it stole the pleasure of being a part of the film festival!
Penthouse again, ever? NO!

Great local cinema! Middle of Brooklyn with a fantastic cafe, food and cinemas. We always come here when we want to go to the movies

Lovely large comfy seats in a clean cinema. Friendly efficient staff and great coffee. Parking can be a little hard at busy times.

awesome cinema that plays a wide range of different movies you wouldn't get to see at standard cinemas. also has a really nice cafe/restaurant which has always been really yum every time there, certainly a go to for a good meal
