Best place to go in Wellington city for a romantic or nice occasion meal. Obviously high quality and premium and you pay for it in the price points but totally worth it!

Very popular little hole in the wall spot on Cuba St. Great ambiance (we went when there was a live musician playing) and we were very surprised by the quality and flavours of the food. Delicious, inventive dishes with a bit of flair. Would recommend going here for more than drinks.

Matterhorn is on the pricey side of things, but completely worth it. The food is delicious and the service is brilliant. The vibe of the restaurant is great and is certainly a "must do" in Wellington.
