Another icon but can be hit and miss. We've had mixed experiences but always great service and welcomes.

For special occasions we've eaten on the balcony, which is relaxing and the best way to enjoy. This restaurant is pricey but worth the extra.

We often have steak or fish which are as always well cooked and the wine matching works well. The only slight downsides can be parking outside is limited and the starters and desserts can be limited in choice but the coffee is good.

Overall worth a visit to an icon on the NZ restaurant scene

The decor was pretty special, the service was good but a little rushed. We ordered drinks on arrival and before we knew it our breads arrived and then the entrees & first wine.

This restaurant offers not only great service but the wine selection is fabulous with a wonderful choice of wines. My steak was cooked perfectly and was matched with a lovely selection of greens. There is also a wonderful atmosphere.

Excellent service, really polite and attentive without being pushy. Food was presented really well. Personally not mind blowing food but it was really nice. Would recommend for any occasion especially dates if you're looking for something fancy in Wellington.

The food was excellent we had the 6 course with wine matching well worth the visit. The wait staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine.
