James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor

We’ve just finished our stay into this hotel and it’s a good one to stay at overall, I liked the sky-high views we saw from the window, however I didn’t like the fact that there isn’t many dishes for eating food from your hotel room which is a bit of a shambles.

There’s also a restaurant and bar and a cafe in there, but we didn’t choose to eat there anyway.

I also like the fact that this hotel isn’t one of the Government’s managed isolation facilities, so then anyone from anywhere around the country can come and have a stay at this hotel too.

Excellent location, good sized rooms. Bar at the lobby is friendly and a good spot for a drink

The breakfast was very nice. Had the fire alarm go off at 4am however I know that is not their fault. Has a convenient lift to the main city street too.

Right in the heart of Wellington, I stay here both on business and for holidays, perfect spot to stay, great rooms too

I came back twice more to the Hotel and its facilities are still excellent. The best of the hotel is still on its staff. They are very kind and helpful.
