Has a wonderful functiom room upstairs. Tasty food at a decent price. Fantastic irish bar. They have bar tables outside for smokers. A really busy place. A must visit in wellington.staff are amazing!.

The service and staff at J. J. Murphy were amazing, friendly and most hospitable. It was my favorite pub in the capital! Highly recommended!

Great Irish pub. Actually captures some Irish spirit. Would be better if played a bit more Irish music and artists.

Nice, cozy, and relaxing pub! Live music is a lovely addition to make this place a great place for a casual catch-up with colleagues and/or friends over drinks and food.Nice dish, tastes fabulous, great portions. Will be back.Highly recommended.

The food was great here, the prices are awesome at lunch time. However, I did find the service to be a bit slack.
I ordered the burrito and my friend tried the pasta.
