We went for the Wellington on a Plate burgers - lamb shoulder, beetroot, lots of other yummy stuff inside the burger - and they were great. The real winner, though, proved to be the eggplant chips served with the burgers. I'd have happily eaten a whole bowl.

A great little selection of wines would please all tastes. The food was excellent, especially the cauliflower bites we shared as an entree, a perfect punch of heat without being over the top. The lamb shoulder and the salmon were perfectly cooked. The service was slick and smooth. A great atmosphere on a perfect corner in Wellington.

Great enough to return the next night to have the tampers cauliflower, salad and fish n chips: the manager, Claire, never stops in her quest to smoothly keep this gem humming. Thanks for two wonderful meals.
