Great India Restaurant

Great food and even better service, took my family here when they were visiting and we were impressed with the variety on the menu and the tastiness of the food. The Cheese and Garlic Naan is worth paying extra for, soooo delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm hand towels afterwards to wash our hands. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place to come at lunch. Lovely food and service at lunch time and would recommend the Shahi Paneer. I went here for dinner however and it was a completely different story. We arrived at 7:30 and didn't get out till 10:50pm. It took that long to get our food. I asked for the Shahi Panner which is on their lunch menu and not their dinner menu. They were kind enough to say they could still do it for me, but it was awful. Nothing like their lunch menu item. Would have been better if they had just said they couldn't.

Will always be my go-to indian restaurant in Wellington. Curries are cooked to perfection whether it be eating in or taking away, Great India is a perfect choice

Always great service and delicious, affordable food. I love the value for money with their $12 lunches and the fact you don’t need to pay extra if you choose to have coconut rice and garlic naan. The dining experience is a lovely atmosphere with a warm eucalyptus towel to finish off your meal, top notch establishment. Great place to take friends and family or a date.
