You have to head to the suburbs to try one of Wellingtons best new restaurant/ wine bars. Set in an 85 year old brick building, Cashmere Lounge has done a wonderful job of capturing the character and enhancing the aesthetics of the original structure. A delicious à la carte menu combined with a superb wine list and excellent service provide a wonderful and relaxed dining experience. The menu focuses on locally sourced produce with European, and Kiwi flavours, expertly crafted by Head Chef- Vincent Good. Polished Victorian Ash sitting on a formed concrete bar create the industrial setting for this relaxing bar. Pilsner Urquell is cold shipped from the Czech republic for the house pour and the fridge holds a range of International and craft beers. The wine list is large, international and varied. There is a small cellar selection of rare and older vintages that is growing by the day! We have a range of cocktails available and a premium selection of spirits. Finish off the perfect evening in the lounge with a single malt or a port.

We choose Cashmere lounge to have a family lunch. The staff were very helpful and friendly the meals and deserts excellent, I will return when in Wellington in the future.

great nite with family & friends for the second time at Concrete. Venue is awesome, food, beer, vino & cocktails were great & the staff couldn't do enough for us!
