Bucket Tree Lodge

this is an excellent place to stay. and so convenient. i stayed here with some friends and recommend them because the hosts are very accommodating, and the atmosphere is pleasant. not to mention that the trains are basically right at your doorstep. you don't have to worry about sleeping in either as there'll be another coming shortly after.

It's a nice lodge. Nothing out of the ordinary service-wise except for the huge bucket shaped tree which is impressive. It us however close to the train station, which is ideal if you're stsying in a suburb outside wellington without a car

Great place to stay with some friends. The bucket tree right outside it is incredible. Takapu train station is a short minute walk which is extremely handy for those wanting to travel within Waikanae to Wellington. Would recommend

Nice and handy location, directly by a train station so easy to get around with no transport. Clean and tidy premises with modern facilities. Check in and out was a breeze.
