got some gloves on clearance from here for my Tongariro hike, the staff knew what I needed and were very helpful in providing me with the best option. on the hike, the gloves fulfilled their purpose and kept me warm. thanks, Bivouac!

Great place to get your outdoor gear, with some nice jackets that are pretty decent in price and quality, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the store is well laid out and kept clean.

You won't have much of a choice if go to Bivouac, their products are pretty much all Black Diamond. I have bough a jacket and a rock sack from them (both Black Diamond) and I was not happy with neither of them... The also have very limited options, I could not find any climbing shoes for kids there... if you are into climbing I would recommend: https://www.climbingshop.co.nz/sale
