      Why Best Ugly? Well, if you were punched, rolled, boiled and fired, you wouldn¿t look so great either. Don¿t worry, our Montreal-style bagels are deliberately manhandled ¿ hand rolled and cut, then simmered in sweet honey water. We then shove them into our custom-made stone oven which runs on New Zealand¿s greatest natural fuel ¿ Manuka hard wood. It¿s the rough and ready treatment that gives them their unique style and flavour. You know what they say. You always hurt the ones you love. And now we offer a gluten free bagel, and have worked up a new chocolate bagel, so no matter your taste, we have you covered.

      LOVE Best Ugly Bagels, the shop has a really cool and chill vibe, the food is DELICIOUS. White Rabbit is my favourite, comes with this fantastic lemon and fennel olive oil drizzle. They also have bagels available to purchase in take-home packs, and they offer a loyalty programme through Goody. My only problem is with Best Ugly is that they can sometimes be super busy which is annoying when I want to go there on my lunch break, but obviously it is a testament to how popular they are.

      Very efficient and friendly staff, especially with the number of people always in the place! The King Salmon bagel is delicious and full of fresh flavors, they make a decent strong brew too. Will happily return to try other items off of their menu.

      By far the best bagels I've had. Only the freshest of ingredients are used (including the bagels themselves), they also use local and a good price point for a quality product. Not to mention the staff are super friendly and clearly love what they do!

      Love these bagel, they’re soft and taste absolutely delicious. The deli is lively and bustling, the staff are also very nice. There are both sweet and savoury toppings to suit everyone’s needs

      Good bagels and great friendly staff. Order the poppy seed bagel with cream cheese and it was very enjoyable. Good coffee as well.
