Backbencher Pub & Cafe

Good friendly service. It was a cold day outside and this place felt particularly cosy. Myself and a friend had a few beers which were spot on and some hand cut fries which were ok. It was nice to be asked if we wanted another drink without leaving the table. I would definitely go back.

Decent food. The food was fresh and very tasty, Love the artwork around the place. Close to parliament for you tourists. Love how the menu is all referenced to local and former politicians. Definitely worth a try

Luckily we booked which I would recommend as it was busy but other than the noise you woukdnt know it - staff were attentive and friendly meals which everyone enjoyed were fast and presented well. Parking is available on street or an easy walk from the railway station.

Great food, good beer and a nice atmosphere makes this place a choice for the night out.

Was presented with the wrong meal and when I let them know they said they would provide me a discount which ended up being $1.30 off my meal. Was not impressed.
