Prompt and efficient service, delicious, fresh, tasty and authentic menu, well worth making a reservation or checking if a table available as it’s a small wee gem, loved the NZ produced sweet potato Shochu that they stock!!! Highly recommended

Found this establishment by chance when driving into the town. Small size but authentic decor, neat and clean as you would expect, depressed floor seating with shoes off if you want.

Sushi is made to order and was the freshest I’ve ever had. The rice was still warm. Would go back for sure.

We had an excellent Japanese meal. Top seafood and vegetables tempura, and teriyaki chicken, served by lovely staff. Washed down with an Orion beer from Okinawa. It is a little pricey, but so is everything in Wanaka. Takeaway is cheaper. We don’t begrudge the price when the quality is so good. The menu is not huge but has most favourites. Tiny place. You may need to book.
