Perfect spot on the Wanaka strip for the amateur diner, with solid outdoor tables ideal for taking in the charms of the town and people watching. You still need to go inside to order, but the food arrives quickly with the friendly service! My blue cod fish burger was delicious, and the slow cooked lamb salad was a standout! Also one of the only places I have seen with complimentary sparkling water on tap!

Awesome little place. Service was g?eat and food was sensational. Didn't get to dessert as I was full. Serving sizes generous.

Where the locals go: so you know this is a great place to dine or have coffee..... the staff are friendly and welcoming - there are a lot of tables to choose from, from a single or a couple to a large group of friends or family - prices are reasonable - food is delishious - the place is well decorated and warm - there is an outside area for seating with lovely views towards the lake - we often visit Alchemy and have never been disappointed, - vegetarian options are available - serves great coffee and if you like it extra hot then all you've got to do is ask as they are very obliging - FREE WiFI - free sparkling water with your meal at a self service dispenser (this is the only ratting establishment we have EVER come across where you can enjoy FREE sparkling water - Thanks Achemy.......

Hubby had a coffee and went back for another cup because he said it was so good. We know where we’re going when we come back.

Quick stop for coffee and brownie. Great lakefront spot. Friendly service and good coffee. The brownie is fantastic warmed up with cream!
