- What Makes Us Different
- Rawson Brothers was established by David Rawson, who is a trade certified Goldsmith and Diamond Grader from Wellington, New Zealand. David completed his 8000 hour apprenticeship at Everson Manufacturing Jewellers under Alan Everson in Upper Hutt, before leaving for an OE living and working in London. David worked with the finest diamonds, gemstones and jewellery in London’s famous jewellery district, Hatton Garden. He has brought home his additional skills and experience and opened his own workshop in his hometown, Upper Hutt. Our Upper Hutt store has a full onsite workshop with a trade qualified Goldsmith in-store, that means when you bring your jewellery in for repair it doesn’t disappear to some unknown person or get sent away for repair in an unknown workshop. You can actually see right into our workshop and talk to our Goldsmith for true peace of mind. We offer a wide range of services in-store from all types of jewellery repairs to bespoke jewellery, watch batteries, straps, pins right up to movements and new glass. We also have a wide and ever increasing range of silver, gold and platinum jewellery. We are very proudly unlike most jewellery stores, we keep things professional without being pretentious, informed and honest answers and pricing up front
