Coroglen Tavern

Nice fire going and super friendly service. Enjoyed both seafood chowder and chicken wings. Great place to grab a meal after a walk to Cathedral Cove.

Nestled away along the famous Coromandel Penninsula is the iconic Coroglen Tavern which would represent NZ’s classic kiwi pub. This place has it all. On a quiet day you can enjoy a beer while your dog sits next to outside and catch up on the local banter with the locals and on many a long weeekends you can enjoy the finest sounds of some of NZ’s best known bands performing live on their own stage. The venue is awesome for a concert and can attract some amazing crowds. The food is yummy and you can’t beat the Coroglen’s naked burger! I love popping into this place for a beer when on holiday in the Coromandel.

Went here on a wine tour with a local company , what a awesome spot! Lovely friendly staff and the drinks are cheap.

We had dinner here and it had wonderfully helpfull staff and a good selection of food to eat that tasted as good as it looked. I had a pork burger and it was amazing
