Thistle Cafe & Bar

Food is basic and not very fresh or tasty. Coffee is mediocre. Staff were a bit rude. Only ended up here when everything else in the area was busy and will not be back.

Raisin Toast bread wasn't toasted and butter too hard to spread on it. Sent back but butter unchanged and toast tasteless. Muesli okay but not much fruit with it. French toast good. Coffee was good too

these guys make an amazing hot choclate they have a great range of food and drink

Not bad, not great. Food is a little hit or miss, but the atmosphere is nice :)

Alright range of food and drinks, but not the best option in the octagon. They have beers on tap, so it can be a good option for a quiet drink.
