Famous for their french-fries, McCains makes a range of vegetable and potato products. The Timaru site just makes potato products now, turning locally grown potatoes into delicious chippies! Frozen chips can be purchased at most supermarkets and are easy to fry up or bake.

Very good quality fries which don't take forever to make and turns out crispy and flavourful. Their wedges are very popular that even restaurants use them as well.

We only purchase McCain fries as they are the only fries which we do not have trouble frying as it fries in less than 5 minutes. Others simply sit in the oil and become sloppy. Roughly $3 for 1 kg.

great staff. great quality chips and a well run factory just outside of Timaru with safety & a high quality product as their main concern. would recommend both the business and the chips!

McCains seasoned wedges are very popular at our home especially when deep fried. Available from Gilmours $8 for 3kgs! Their pizza range are also great..just heat and eat.
