The role of the Council is to provide services to the community, as required by statute or determined by Council Policy, in a cost effective manner. Council provides leadership in relation to issues that affect the Waitomo District Community, through the sustainable management of the environment and promotion of the District's needs and aspirations. The handful of times i've been in the office they have been helpful enough. But I do not agree with the very high rates prices and the lack to show for it in the community
