      This school has a fairly large role, one of the largest in the Te Awamutu area. In the senior area (years 5&6) the classes are 'passion-based'. This allows children who are passionate about the arts (for example) to be in the arts passion class/es, where drama, dance, singing etc is incorporated more deliberately into the planning.
      Wednesday Wonderland runs on Weds afternoons, and is a wee introduction to TAPS school-life for enrolled 4-year olds and their caregivers. This is always well-attended.
      Among other things, the school boasts a range of sports teams (interschool and Saturday sports), a kapa haka, bee-keeping, Song Squad, pre and after-school care, and lots more.
