Monte Gelato

I always stop in here if I'm over in Mount Maunganui, as it is a really nice treat after you've climbed up the mountain/spent the day at the beach. The staff are lovely and are happy to give you a few taste testers before you are ready to make your selection. My favourite is the Mr Snickers one

Yummy and the perfect gelato place, especially if you've just come from the top of the mount. All sweaty and hot, it cools you down perfectly. Not bad prices and nice servings.

Open late for a delicious after dinner gelato to walk off going along the beach. The girls that work here are so lovely and the gelato was great! Huge range of choices for flavour, almost too many to pick! Good thing they can mix them ;)

Very tasty Gelato with a good range of options. Good service and didn't have to wait too long on a hot day. Not cheap but probably comparable with other gelato places around the country. Would go hack again.
