Licorice Cafe

On the way south last weekend we were tired, hungry and thirsty. We knew about this place and we're very glad to find it open and friendly. The food is always good, the service excellent and the amenities second to none. It greatly refreshed us for the rest of the journey.

Placed well for those wanting a break and a coffee. Good range of food and enjoyable seating whether inside or out. Clean bathroom facilities.

A great stop on the way home from Lake Taupo to Taumarunui. Well presented, clean toilets, gorgeous garden space. Service was good from friendly staff. We arrived later in the day and the garden seating area was a bit untidy. Otherwise a perfect experience. I will be back!

Beautiful location great outdoor seating and landscaping nice and clean cafe and amazing fresh baking rhe raspberry slice was mouthwatering and fresh big portion size and creamy caramel thickshake and beautiful biscotti and chocolate peices
