Great lodge for people attempting the famous Tongariro Crossing. They'll drop you off at the start of the walk and pick you up after. The units are large and comfortable (we rented two units that slept six people in each) and there's a pub just over the road, which is very handy when you've finished the crossing and all you want is a beer to celebrate.

Have stayed here a few times over the last year and have always found the hosts welcoming. The Lodge itself it nice and comfortable, a great place for a weekend away, extra bonus it's really affordable too :)

Lovely staff. Rooms is perfect for couples and families with children. Facilities are great as well
