The Shearer's Quarters

Wow what a let down today was. We had a table booked for 10 people at lunch, the girl behind the counter didn't greet us and acted as if we were adding to her already horrible day.

Food was way below average!! Under cooked French toast, over cooked fies which came out in a tiny bowl and cost $7(?)

Pricing is out of whack. Paid $18 for eggs Benedict, came on half a bun of some kind with a small amount if bacon and two eggs drowned in sauce. Yet two of our group got a large bit of salmon, salad and fries for $18??

Kids meals had delicious curly fries that you're unable to order on the normal menu. There were a few chip meals for $7 bowl was the same size as standard fries and came with 4 chicken nuggets... For the same price of $7(?)

Seriously if we ever go back I think we'll just order the kids meals!

Two light lunch meals, one small bowl of fries, a kids meal and a wee smoothie from the drinks fridge cost $54. Won't be returning for lunch anytime soon. Disappointed the new owners haven't helped this cafe.

Fantastic place for a nice family dinner out. A bit of a drive from town but well worth it as the staff are very friendly and the food is always delicious. It has an absolutely beautiful environment and always recommend to friends and family when they are in the area.
