The Shearer's Quarters

Had a really terrible experience today and as locals won't be returning in a hurry. Poor customer service, the young girl behind the counter had a sour look on her face and was definitely not in the mood to be dealing with customers! Food is insanely over priced, $4 for a dry scone. Coffee is average.

Actually so disappointing I thought the new owners were really into something !

Has recently changed owners, for the better.
Food is nice but on the expensive side.
Lots of outdoor space for kids to run around.

Worth a stop on a roadtrip in the area. Mountain views afar. Gorgeous renovated quarters, a playground near outdoor seating and a farmyard! Food was great too. Little gem

Had a nice meal here today. The salmon was cooked to my liking. The lady who served me was happy to replace the fries with extra salad at my request.
We were booked in near the kids inside play area which was handy as there were 4 kids (aged 3 and under) in our group.
A big concern for me though was that the logfire has no safety guard around it, I thought that was unusual since it is in very close proximity to where the kids play.
