Amazing bar, however were met with the owner and his dog upon entry and wasnt impressed as the dog was draped through the bar (on his leash) while we were eatting which i found quite rude.

However the staff were friendly and the food (before the dog came in) was great.

Beautiful ambience, great view, an excellent menu and totally professional service. My wife and I could not fault our lunch experience at this iconic establishment

Beautiful outlook over the beach at Russell. Very friendly & professional staff. We had items fro the lunch menu which was very nice, pate of the day and calamari which was slightly overcooked, but nice presentation.

Had a lovely lunch date on the terrace with superb fish & chips. Terakihi and Snapper me@ls ordered. Dreaming of returning.

A great bar and restaurant housed in a colonial-style villa. History of the Duke of Marlborough and local news hangs in the bar. You can dine inside or outside. Eating, while sitting on the verandah, overlooking the bay is just a beautiful experience. Many of the waiters are young tourists, which makes your visit more interesting, because they engage with you about their own holiday. Lovely food, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
