I prefer to use Robbs Garage, Roxburgh, rather than petrol stations in Alexandra as the staff are always friendly and always keen to help. The service is of the old fashioned kind. They remind me to check my oil as they know it is something that does not occur to me to do very often. They often wash my windscreen, and on occasion a mechanic will drop what he is doing to look at my car if it is making an unusual sound, or feels different He will either sort it or advise me as to the next step. There have been four incidents over the years, when my car has broken down and I've had to call the AA. They are the local providers and have always arrived with a tow truck within half an hour, which is good, considering the isolated areas I was in. I would recommend Robbs Garage and its staff.
