This place almost always has a queue and they sell out of some of the best stuff... which speaks for itself really. World famous in NZ - just wish it was open on weekends! Definitely stop off if you're on your way to Central.

Any one passing through or staying at Roxburgh should visit Jimmy's Pies. Jimmy's Pies are famous in these parts of the woods. Jimmy's Pies is only a small place but offers a great selection of pies and at great value. Don't eat before you try one of these great delights as it might affect your taste buds. I bought two during my stopover for lunch and there were so many more I wanted to buy!

Bloody delicious pies!!! The mince and cheese is the biggest winner here, I think. I think there’s also a decent curry one and of course a good steak one.
A classic and a must in this strange boring and beautiful little town. Come to Roxburgh for the fruit and the pies, not much else there.

Best pies in NZ. Always stop while travelling. Best pie is mince, cheese and bacon. Followed by mince and cheese.
