My daughter was little scared of Lions first when they were going for meat. After that she had an opportunity to pat the gorgeous cub. We had lots of fun feeding fish and animals. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our three children, age 8, 6 and 1 visted Paradise Valley Springs during the recent school holidays. We got there at about 2pm, teh staff at the counter (gift shop area) were helpful and friendly. We bought two bags of feed (for the ducks and birds, deer, goat and other small animals) with a souvenir cup for $5.
We went straight to the lion area and watched and admired them until 2.30pm, when a staff member came to feed them. She did really well throwing the meat chunks as close to the fence as she could so we could all have a close look. It was really amazing seeing the lions catching the meat, sometimes having little fights over it (we heard some roars and growls). Definitely the highlight of the afternoon.
After the lion feeding we went to the possum and kea feeding at 3pm. The kea does cool tricks like shaking hands and spinning around. They let one out and it wanders around, which my kids thought was very cool.
We wandered around the rest of the park, which is very pretty, next to a beautiful stream.
We were the last ones to leave for the day, we left at about 4.30pm and our car was the only one in the car park.
The park was clean and tidy and had good toilets. The animals weren't particularly interested in being fed, perhaps because we came so late in the day they had been hand fed by the other tourists...but we still managed to get some of them interested enough to eat from our hands, including the deer and the emu. The goats were very keen as well.
I would say three hours would be a good length of time for a visit if you have young kids. Take your own snacks and water in with you.

Absolutely wonderful experience!
The lion feeding and kea feedings are amazing to watch , the staffs knowledge is fantastic and very friendly customer service
They have ample car parks and a small gift store too.
The lions have a huge area and the staff talk you through all their individual personalities and names / ages during the feeding talk. It’s well worth the money and definitely something fun for all the family

Interesting place to visit. The animals look well cared for but the thing I liked the best was the trout and the eels. They stream they are in is beautiful.

Loved it. I recommend being on the right side for the lion feeding as this is the side they feed them from and the lions know too come too this side
