Good staff, good service. Food is delicious and the selection of meals is good! Prices are a little steep. Also, it would be nice if there were more vegetarian options. Cant wait to go back though!

Fantastic friendly service and amazing meals every time. Very generous portions and food is always fresh. Great music, decor and atmosphere, and some tables outside which are great on a nice sunny evening

Steaks were cooked to perfection, ribs were lip smackin good and little nippers fish n chips were tasty. Service was good too.

Went to a 50th at Lonestar Rotorua and all in all they catered quite well for the large group of us. Being a Saturday night the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff were rushed off their feet but they did make the time to entertain our needs and make sure everything was alright.
Food itself is just the same as any Lonestar you go to big portions steak cooked quite well, large chips and a salad. but just not the wide variety to cater for the different tastes of today.
Lonestar still works on the concept it did from day one of trying to be an American restaurant and has been successful but soon just like in other parts of the country new restaurants with an American theme will pop up with better menus at a cheaper price. Lonestar will need to expand its menu if it would like to continue to be the dominant force that it seems to be in Rotorua.
For the price you pay and a menu that you could quite easily reproduce at home Lonestar gets a 3.5 from me. The only things that made this night memorable was the ambience, the staff and the people we had dinner with.
