The 7 Russell Road site houses the Administration, Design and Manufacturing departments, supporting our network of contractors around the country, to bring you bespoke, solid timber homes that stand the test of time. Lockwood was founded in 1951, when Jo La Grouw Snr and John van Loghem arrived in New Zealand. Lockwood developed solid wood, character homes that are thoughtfully designed and well constructed. Jo La Grouw¿s engineering innovation, the patented Lockwood Building System, rapidly revolutionised the New Zealand building industry. Around the world, more than 50,000 homes have been built using Lockwood¿s unique system of timber boards that are locked together with aluminium x-profiles .
