      I was not Riverlands' usual truck-driving customer, but someone with a very dirty vehicle to clean and a hunger to feed. Unfortunately, the truck wash was out of commission, but the guy in charge happily got out a hose a hose and brushes for a DIY job, telling me "not to worry" if I made a bit of a mess – which I did. Over at the cafe, the meal was massive, beautifully cooked and well priced, served up by one of Marlborough's most cheerful people. Will be stopping there again next time I'm in the area.
