Reef Cottage Bed & Breakfast & Cafe

Being in Reefton for work my colleague and I dropped in for a bite of lunch. To my surprise the menu had a chickpea dish with a beetroot hummus and other delicious components topped with a soft poached egg. I know this because my colleague ordered and raved. My BLAT was delicious as well. Crispy bacon topped with half an avocado filled with a balsamic dressing. Really impressed.

On our return of West Coast, we spent half day in Reefton. We had our Lunch at Reef Cottage. It was delicious food with hot Chai Latte. The environment was so warm and cozy. The interior of the building adds more value to its environment. Throughly enjoyed and definitely recommended.

Nice setting on the main st, great coffee and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The best lemon tart I've tasted in a long time.

Two visits in 5 days at this lovely setting cafe. Lovely warm fire and Corn fritter stack so delicious I went back on my way home 5 days later and had another! No decaf available that day but had the back up of hot chocolate and it was lovely.

I work in Reefton, and this wee cafe is my go to for coffee, lunch, or a quick snack. Every visit never fails to disappoint! The food, coffee and service are always excellent. Stop in and warm up by the fire and have a chat to the friendly staff.
