Kea Motel

Horrendous! This motel was the worst motel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The unit was filthy throughout. The mattress was so old and threadbare that when we pulled the stained mattress cover back to find out what was poking us in our sleep, the protruding bed springs stared straight back at us. My greatest mistake was pre-paying for three nights. When I asked for a refund so I could leave and find somewhere hygienic and even slightly comfortable, the Manager Ronnie became extremely rude and abusive and refused to refund my money saying he had turned away other bookings due to ours. This was a deliberate lie as we saw ALL 8 of the other units were empty when we left at daybreak the next day - we were the only fools in the place. Avoid like the plague.
