Speights Ale House Palmerston North

We visit Speights often, at least 4 times a year for special occasions as we are familiar with the menu and know that we will always get good tasty food and plenty of it.

Food was standard pub food. Took ages for our food to come out even though they weren't busy. The waitress was really nice and helpful though.

Rang to make a reservation as normal but upon arrival was told there was no table booked under our name - the same issue a week later. Not impressed therefore did not end up dining there

Good selection of beers and ales. Serves good pub food too. Has seating and standing options and a nice outside area. Friendly staff and everything is reasonably priced.

Lovely food with a menu that makes it hard to pick which meal to have. Will visit again so we can try something else. Staff are very friendly and we loved the tray with 8 samples or different Speight's drinks. Atmosphere was so nice that we stayed on the have a drink afterwards. Love the outdoors area :-) We will be back
