We stopped off in Palmerston on our road trip to Wellington. We went for dinner at the Royal Garden Indian after seeing the reviews on trip advisor and I must say I wasn’t disappointed! From the outside it just looks like a take away (the sign is a bit dated) but don’t let this put you off! The inside is lovely! The food was really good and the service was great! Would recommend! It was good value for money too!

this conveniently located Indian cusine provides a range of indian dishes to choose from. chicken jalfrezi and palak chicken are among the must tries.

Went for takeaways, however you can dine in. The food was good! We were able to phone in our order so it was ready when we got there. We will be back. Fast, friendly service

Very friwndly staff, great currys, with great selections. Do fantastic takeaways and also a very nice place to dine in, good atmosphere!!
