Paihia Pharmacy Ltd

We came from South East Asia. Pharmacist was the rudest person I ever seen in my 3 month stay in New Zealand.Definitely he do not like asians Prices are way too high and also staff do not provide you the genuine. Try to avoid to go to this store. There are other options like Four Square or Countdown. Unfortunately this is the only pharmacy in the town. I wish if there is other pharmacy in the town.

Most unfriendly owner ever. Totally disrespectful and bluntly rude and arrogant. I am a Paihia local and I will rather drive 50km to the next town to avoid him. He has some serious issues with himself and tries to deliberately talk down to other men in front of his female (only) staff to increase his (non existing) self esteem. Do yourself a favour and do not support this guy. He has a monopoly on the down (being the only pharmacy) so he thinks he is all powerful. I hope this message can find him and all his clients somehow. Thanks

As well as being a well stocked chemist they make their own sea sickness pills called Paihia Bombs iv always got these from them as they are the best sea sickness prevention around. Staff have always been friendly.

I purchased Paihia Bombs over the phone. The lady was helpful, efficient and I received the order quickly. The Paihia Bombs worked marvelously and I would recommend to anyone needing something for sea sickness.

I use these all the time if I intend on going out in rough seas, they don't have any side effects for me like Sealegs pills i.e. I dont feel like falling asleep while towing the boat home at the end of the day. I order them over the phone from Auckland and I have dealt with a lady called Teresa who is polite and clear to deal with. I haven't dealt with the so called rude people so far. Unfortunately some people are naturally difficult to deal with, it doesn't mean they doing it on purpose however I know what its like to deal with these types of people and I'm sure all of us have been in that type of mood at one time or another. In the end these are the only seasick pills that work for me and I couldn't care less what they are like to deal with, its a 3 minute conversation for hours of not feeling sick. Works for me.
