Catlins Cafe

After the heart pounding experience of seeing Teapot world I stopped in here for coffee; the coffer per NZ standards was terrific; there were a handful of locals in there which is always a good sign. I only got a cheese roll, which was a (very good) grilled cheese but didn’t sample much more. Based on what i had I was pleased and the service and quality were enough that if I wanted a full meal I would have come here.

Visited with a group of 16 recently, and thinking it would be tricky doing breakfast for a group we did pre order but the restaurant were excellent , making 16 different breakfast orders and all our coffees and teas in under an hour. Great service, lovely breakfast, good servings and great coffee. Went twice and will go back again next trip.

We stopped in here for takeaway coffees on our way through. Lovely service, the man who served us was friendly and very helpful with information for us as tourists. Its nice inside and if we had more time, I would've liked to dine in.

The standard of the coffee is not too bad. But overall I had nice experience
