Countdown Supermarkets

Not a very good experience with this countdown. Loads of products not stocked and no staff seeming to be filling them and this was a morning visit so couldn’t have been a rush of people through the store. Staff weren’t very nice or friendly and made me feel like I should have been scanning my own groceries. Shop was tidy just bare.

Pretty appalling, shelves are always empty especially products on special, staff are very unhelpful when asked where things are or if there is more stock. You can guarantee most items in the mailers that are on special will not be in stock here. Hence the reason we choose to shop at Te Awamutu countdown. They don't even have a deli anymore?

Sometimes when i go in here there are several long lines as not enough checkouts are open. Also get annoyed i find a product i like only to discover after awhile its gone. An example i really liked the curly fries then they stopped stocking them yet you can find so many brands of straight an crinkled. Most of the staff are friendly but you do get the odd couple that dont say hello or anything just start scanning your items. Like that you can get your lotto here.

Small store, always very busy and not enough checkouts to open. I asked for some packing boxes to be put aside and they were very rude about it when i went to pick them up the next day in which they wern't put aside either.

Not bad store, usually pretty good shopping experience but presentation could be improved a little.
