Faridas Cafe Bar & Restaurant

On a perfect Summer's Sunday afternoon, you can't beat finishing off a meander along Orewa Beach with a visit Faridas for a traditional Tip Top hand scooped ice cream as you seek shelter under umbrella shade.

I was in heaven having double scoop orange chocolate chip with hokey pokey. Despite a queue out the door, the staff are friendly and prompt in delivering your cream orders. Highly recommended!

A great place to meet up with friends for coffee, food & of course icecream as they offer indoor or outdoor seating weather permitting of course. The food was to our liking & the coffee was very good. Worth a second visit to try something else off the menu

A good place to stop when walking the Orewa beach front walk way. Its location is perfect with it being closer to the southern end - so park in the north and this will be your half way stop.

Garlic bread for starters, then we ordered two mains, pollo parmigiana and a very tender and tasty steak, both served with vegetables. Delicious desserts, creme brulee and affogato. A bottle of pinot gris from Marlborough excellent value and very drinkable. Waitresses understood their menu, were personable and friendly.Will definitely be back..

Outstanding pastries! Seriously a cool little café with great food and delicious drinks. Only a couple of seats outside, but pop across the road and there’s a whole lot of grass and beach.
