Asahi Japanese Restaurant

I like this restaurant because there is a good choice of food. It is also very healthy and the staff is very friendly. It is a good value for money to dine here.

I didn’t take nice photos but the Sushi and the food on the menu are absolutely delicious! They are our favorite Japanese restaurant in Orewa and Silverdale, and very reasonably priced too!

The salmon and Tuna Sashimi was so fresh and buttery it literally melted in my mouth. Cannot fault anything. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. Will definately be back again .

Quick and tasty food in Orewa, close to the beach and central streets. Both sushi (there are a lot of them!) and hot meals are delicious, teriyaki are just one of the best I tried. And vegetarian steamed dumplings - yum! The only thing I wish this place worked on Sundays as it upsets me every time we're in Orewa and it's closed.

This is has to be the best place to buy sushi in Orewa, as they have a vast range of freshly made sushi, offers gluten free soy sauce at no extra cost. Always busy with people grabbing take out sushi or having a sit down meal
