Saddleback Cafe

Initially we discovered this place while walking on the Te Araroa from Colonial Knob to my Kaukapakapa, and it was a godsend. Today we returned to try it for more than coffee. Food was excellent, prices great value, cheaper than city and suburbs, and there is no WiFi or Phone coverage, probably why the place lacks reviews. Highly recommended. Great country views and not too far outside the city.

You can go hear not knowing what you want and the helpful staff will recommend the nicest things. Great service!

The food here is always great. Really interesting stuff beyond your usual cafe classics. Particularly love their breakfast. Good coffee as well! Love that they give to a different charity each month, awesome to see them contributing to the community. Service is great too.

Awesome place for brunch. Had the Omelette and Mash Hash! Gets busy quick so good idea to get in early. Coffee was also of a high standard.

Great for a weekend family lunch, yummy food, very friendly staff. We will definitely come back to try more of there menu.
