Waitaki Cafe & Diner

Very greasy and cold place was told that this was the best place to get a feed on a Friday especially the pies, so with high hopes we went. My food came out warm not hot, the grease from the fries was visible on the plate and I was left with an upset stomach all night, it was like burping grease bubbles. Very unhappy especially as it wasn't that cheap, to be honest either. Plus it is right on the other end of town for us so was a trek.

Today we visited the institution with a young man for the first time. We were satisfied. Staff works promptly and carefully. To the kitchen there were no complaints. The beer is fresh, the coffee is delicious, the restrooms are clean;)

Quite not a bad cafe. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is pretty tasty, despite a small selection.

Our dish took awhile although it wasn't that busy. But it has good presentation and taste good.
